Facebook is all about engaging with other users. That means your primary goal is to provide content that makes users want to like, comment on, and share your posts.
How do you do that?
Look at the favorite posts in your News Feed, the ones users have liked and shared. The odds are they have at least one thing in common. Nine times out of ten they are visually oriented, which means they contain pictures or videos.
Facebook pictures come in a number of varieties, but they all share one common trait. They’re of a person, or a cute furry pet—maybe even a baby. They’re of a person making a funny face, or stuck in a strange place, or doing something unusual. Other times it’s a picture of someone famous along with one of their quotes.
